Best place to buy a Digital Camera?

I want to buy a Digital Camera. Can anybody tell me which is the best place to buy a Digital Camera in Chennai city. Also can anybody tell me which configuration is best suited to buy for a home use Digital Camera. Also please tell me WHICH ARE THE FEATURES TO LOOK UPON WHEN BUYING A GOOD DIGITAL CAMERA

    get it at a place that only sells cameras/electronics. buy name brands. I personally like nikon and canon. the megapixels don't matter, a 5 or 6 mp camera will do just perfectly to create a print as big as 3 feet! Look for a camera with a good lens and sensor. Both nikon and canon have those. be willing to pay around $250-350 for a great camera. Make sure it has optical image stabilization, and good optical zoom.

    best buy and walmart has some good ones you should find one with a high megapixels anywhere from 8 and above is really good and some of the better cameras have face detection software where it finds the object you are trying to take a picture of and you should get one with a decent zoom get one with at least 5x zoom or above also buying name brand is a good thing when buying a camera i personally like kodak and sony but each person is entitled to their own opinion well happy hunting's!

    Go to Reliance Digital, or Electronic bazaar (Big Bazaar chain). They keep good stuff.

    The Best would be an electronic store, like circuit city, best buy, exc. as a last minute resort, try going to Target. They have a great veriaty and good pricing too

    choose a cam wit best optical lens, zoom, hw much mega pixel and more importantly data storage space and the rechargable battery…
    i wud recommend CANNON as i've got one after all the survey i hv done !!!
