I Dropped My Camera!?

A few days ago i dropped my camera. It was working okay afterwards for a bit, but now the photo's I take are permenantly blurred and the screen is perminantly out of focus..

What would you suggest for me to do? Is there anyway to fix it? I really need to fix it cos I am leaving school soon and need a camera to take pics.

Many thanks.

Right your lens is damaged, it may be repairable, it may not be. A camera shop will generally have to send it off to an engineer's to be examined.

Since you dropped it the camera warranty won't cover it. However you need to check with your home insurance to see whether it covers accidental damage of electronic products such as cameras, laptops and mobiles. If it does then you may be able to have the repair done at the cost of the insurers, however you may be liable to pay an excess, and your premium may increase slightly next year.
